Strengthening the substrate will decrease the amount of movement associated with timber and non tongue and groove floorboards and chipboard.
Roll it on with a paint roller and make sure you cover all areas of the board.
Depending on the amount of movement and deflection you may need to strengthen the substrate before tiling.
Seal the particleboard well with a shellac sealer.
Just be careful when the boards are butted tightly together as the adhesive is likely to foam out of the board joint.
