Expand the floors and roomscategory expand floor levels then select the desired floor and press edit.

Set the ceiling or floor elevations as needed. Creating a stage or raised area a raised area such as a stage platform can be created either with a polyline solid or by defining a room and raising the floor height in the room specification dialog. The amount that the building pad is raised depends on the type of foundation you have built in your plan. The program automatically raises the default floor height of floor 1 up above the default terrain. Select edit default settings from the menu and in the default settings dialog expand the floors and rooms category select current floor and click the edit button.

Select a floor level of your choice then click the editbutton. Click okto apply the changes. Chief architect programs raise the building pad off the terrain for you automatically. You can easily create a split level in chief architect by controlling the floor and ceiling heights of different rooms in a plan.

In the default settingsdialog click the arrow next to floors and roomsto expand the category then expand the floor levelscategory as well.
